Itinerary
Enjoy free time in the morning and early afternoon. Begin with a visit to Uluwatu, a beautiful temple impressively located on the edge of a limestone peninsula. At sunset an ensemble of actors and a choir perform the hypnotic Kecak dance. From the amphitheatre you look down into the arena, where 50 bare-chested men clad in black and white skirts rhythmically utter the ‘cak cak’ sound. After the performance, you can visit one of the many seafood restaurants in Jimbaran for a romantic dinner on the beach.
Drive in the morning from your hotel to the mountain area of Batukaru to begin your Jatiluwih rice terrace trekking. The track begins from a small path with a magnificent view of Bali’s best rice terraces on the island. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the floating temple of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple in Beratan Lake. Explore Candi Kuning Market to see the traditional vegetable and fruit market. Visit the Git Git waterfall before checking in at your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.
Immerse yourself in the incredible natural delights of Bali. We will take you close to the Lovina dolphins to see their activity in the morning with an amazing sunrise at Lovina Beach. In the afternoon we will take a swim in Banjar Hot Springs, in the hills of the north, for those seeking relaxation, fun, sightseeing, and a totally different experience. Those not wanting to swim can enjoy the lush tropical gardens, the view from above at the Komala Tirta Restaurant, or shopping for souvenirs at the rows of art shops just outside. Next, visit Brahma Vihara Arama, the large Buddhist monastery, located up in the hills of Banjar. Brahmavihara-Arama comprises a hectare of hillside, with numerous meditation rooms, libraries, beautiful gardens, and an impressive mini replica of the world’s largest Buddhist archaeological site, Borobudur on its highest grounds.
Your day begins with Kintamani village to see the breathtaking view of the Mount Batur volcano. Visit the Tirta Empul Temple, known as a Holy Spring temple. After lunch we visit Instagram-worthy beautiful rice terraces at Tegallalang village. Ubud Monkey Forest in the center of town is a small forest and conservation area.
Today you will discover more about village life and how to cook traditional Balinese food. This tour will begin with a visit to a traditional Ubud market where you can pick your own fresh herbs & spices, fresh vegetables, and choice of meat or fish. Once the market visit is done, you will be warmly welcomed by the host who will help you to learn how to cook your very own authentic Balinese dishes. In the evening enjoy a farewell group dinner.
